Aside from being a mom of now my 11 month old son, there are times that I do babysit my niece and nephews who are on their soon to be teenage life. In this generation, they call them tweenagers/tweeners. That is somewhere between kids and teenage kids. Ofcourse, my activity with my son and toddlers is totally different with the things I do for them since their interest is way different from this babies. With this wide array of choices of activities to do by playing physically or thru internet, I also have to check if it will be good for them or not. There are some games online I ask them to avoid something like those violent characters featured and the goal is to kill and hurt each character. I am more encouraging them to play those strategic and arcade type of games just like bubble games, tetris, pacman,…yeah yeah..it may sound boring and old school but hey, they did enjoy those games to kill time while waiting for their mom to pick them up.

There are actually lots of games for kids available online that I ask them to visit since those games who needs supervision by adult is blocked in my home since I know lots of kids are staying and using my pc for games. Aside playing using the PC, I also a lot time to play outdoor for them to feel the real world and to enhance their physical, mental and motor skills. This will also enhance their camaraderie by playing with other kids inside the village. But when the sun or the weather is not cooperating, theres always a click of a game for them to enjoy and play.

And now back to my toddler, since he cant control the computer now, I just end up downloading videos we both can enjoy just like those Mommy and Me, little Einstein and so much more to choose from.
